As point light sources, low voltage halogen capsule lamps permit accurate focusing and optimum beam control. They are particularly suitable for incorporation in very small luminaires used for highlighting with strong light points. Low voltage halogen capsule lamps are operated with conventional (magnetic) transformers or electronic transformers.
