From time to time it happens, that an exterior scene shows an unexpected bright spot. To comprehend the input of each light source to this spot we suggest the use of a “Luminous Intensity Calculation Point”. You can easily find this item under the index “Insert” in line ten. Following a new calculation the output index at the bottom offers a new entry named “Luminous Intensity Calculation Point”. In the next step DIALux displays a full list of all luminaires in the scene and what their effect is regarding the selected spot. The calculation spot is usually set at 1.7m height if not manually changed. From this point the scene is calculated at full circle. For the interior you can make use of three equivalent calculation spots: “Horizontal”, “Vertical” and “Free Calculation Spot”.
