The certification of buildings according to DGNB also requires the calculation of the annual relative usable exposure under many other points. This is not straightforward since, in addition to the daylight quotient for the shell opening, consideration must also be given to the facade properties.
If an energy evaluation according to DIN V 18599 is carried out in DIALux 4, this value is obtained without much effort. However, according to DIN-V18599, this value is not a relative annual exposure but a daylight supply factor.
This is a result of the respective exposed area. As window properties, orientation, obstruction etc. influence, no global value for zone, storey, room or like that can be given. A weighted averaging would be useful to determine a value for a storey or an entire building.
